Shortwave Fade

Information

A four-piece indie/electro band from Leicster. Shortwave fade won 15,000 pounds in Dec 2007 through slicethepie.com winning an online vote and coming top of the 700+ bands that entered their arena.

The band use synth loops, sequencers and projected visuals in their live show and have recently supported the likes of iLIKE TRAINS, The Subways and Keane amongst others.

The bands debut single 'Leave' was released on Sept 8th 2008 on iTunes and other download sites. This was followed by the singles 'Lost in a Hurricane' and 'Too Late to Tell'

The debut album 'Deletia' was released in March 2009 and earnt the band praise from the BBC's Dean Jakson, Steve Lamaq and Tom Robinson amongst others.

Welcome to our new website / blog!
