The Leicester Fringe Festival will commence on Friday 5th August 2011 with a launch event at Phoenix Square in Leicester's Cultural Quarter. This will be followed by a week of events across the arts culminating in 'Fringe Thursday' on 11 August bringing the best in regional music talent and a comedy event in multiple venues across Leicester City Centre the evening before the Summer Sundae Weekender begins.
