INCOMING: Right - this took a while to arrive (dont ever bother with Dolphin Music!) and i am happy to announce that I am getting married to it. its such a great pedal - the only thing that I would like to change about it is to have some sort of preset and external footswitch control to toggle between 2 or 3 of the lush sounds that you can draw out of this. distorted power chords are nothing short of amazing - roll off the up octave to 1/4 and its saturated lovliness - MEAT! clean with a trebly setting - take out all the dry signal and your some sort of yardbirdsy 12 stringy vibe... all knobs to max and a touch of drive - BOOM - church organ. It tracks chords FLAWLESSLY (it isnt just marketting) even with a fair amount of fuzz (fender blender - which is partly up octave anyway - i thought I would "trip up" the MP up here) its still pretty defined. The ONLY thing i would mark this down for is that the "bass only" signal isnt as convincing as all the reviews have said - its a little synthy and phased sounding - making me think that all the famous types hat reckon they use the MP as a bass sub in recording are stretching the truth slightly. In short - LUBBERLY!

I have the modern version with a weird sub off filter that makes any speaker sound like its got one of Mark Haynes ubiquitous pin badges stuck through the cone. good pedal.
