Power Ups! Posts: 29490	Not really a quote of the day, and not really a bit of depressing management speak / smoke n mirrors. but still pretty crazy in even if ultimately its pretty cool. For a few weeks ive been egtting emails about "norman"... DELETE... assuming its probably some bullshit HR thing that eventually i'll read about and post on here. well, today, i opened a "noman" email. Norman turns out to be a fucking EAGLE. yup - our head office has its own eagle. basically, the green guys had a few issues about pigeons and seagulls fucking with thier nice clean buildings... so they have an eagle fly round the place 3 days a week as an environmentally friendly pest control / deterrant. apparebtly, just SEEING the beaky fucker is enough to stop pigeons and gulls nesting in the architetcture. nice. Norman. Nuff respeck.

A massive, badly tattooed, rock hard looking chav and his mate were walking up the street, he was pushing a buggy (pink!) with his daughter in who was about 2 years old. They stop outside the shop and he yells to his mate "Oy, watch her will ya....." and then looks at his daughter all goo goo and says in a high girly voice "Its all right sweetie, Daddy will be back in a bit".... and stomps off into a shop. I wasnt sure if it was sweet or terrifying!

"I went to sort the garden at my mums house, you'll never beleive what happened." "what?" "well, under the tree where she used to sit with me dad there were two pigeons. sat there, bold as brass, and they didnt fly away until i got really close" "no!" "yes - must have been them!" "it was a sign, probably" "yes, they looked so happy, and now I know my mum is happy and back with me dad" "thats lovely" "I know... and what was weirder was that one of the pigeons was grey, but like a REALLY intense grey, just like me mums hair at the end. and also grey like the ambulance man that came to take her to hospital one time" "that is SO weird" I mean really. ffs. (p.s. when i shuffle off, let me garuntee you all that if animal reincarnation os real, the only sign I am gonna give the world is a freakin giant atomic crab, being piloted by a screaming, firey ape strutting about the north sea attacking shipping - NOT pigeons)
