Current ambient ramblings pan out at about 8:10 need to condense it down to keep the interest up. I also need to allocate each instrument it's own frequency band at the moment things start disappearing when other instruments come in.

Currently no Spectrogram

Where should we upload it? Still got to record the bass part. It will be done by Tuesday.

If it's in mp3 format you can email it me - PM me for address.

if you're offering it in .wav, upload somewhere like fileden and send me the link.

Submitted. Now wondering whether the lead guitar is a bit too quiet. May have to resubmit because I'm a tool.

I wouldn't worry. I'm just going to cover everything with shedloads of reverb and a looped sample of waves breaking on a distant shore, anyway.

Really looking forward to hearing this. It's a bit weird not being the PRAGmaster and being able to hear tracks as they are submitted.

Did anyone find this a lot harder than expected? 'Ambient / minimalism' sounds like it should be a piece of piss, but I soon found out that because there's so little going on everything has to be spot on.

I'm finding it a bit tough, tbh. I'll be submitting something, but whether it fits the brief, gawd only knows.

I've been off my head for almost a week and a half, so fuck knows. I'll definitely be submitting 'Something' through the Pragmasters letterbox.

I have found this PRAG easier but this might be due to my improved environment. Have finally sorting a decent space for all my computers which gives me easy access to music equipment a place for some monitor speakers and keyboards I have also moving across to Reaper which has helped my work flow.

i found it easier too. title gave me a "oh lets be ironic" jumping off point... no need for lyrics or recording vox (which is a shitter with my ropey gear) and the freedom to experiement meant mine was complete in record time.

Nah - struggled like fuck to do something. In the end just submitted a mish mash of ideas and tried to bang em all in one. Not sure if the guitar trac is going to be loud enough, but i cant rerecord it cos i dont actually know what the hell it was i was playing.

For me, it feels about as far out of my comfort zone as I've been in years. Interesting though.
