Come Die with Me – DrumAliens - Very good. Strong song. Ace string sound. But particularly thrilled to hear the quality of your vocal, DA. At the risk of sounding patronising, the vocals on this show the improvements some of us are making through regular PRAG involvement. I’m not sure the confidence you display here was evident 2 years ago. Nice one!

You are ooohhh so right about the vocals helped along by a decent mike which means what I recorded and hear are the same. No more mucking around with the vocals to "get it right".

Gosh I see what you mean about the formatting just went mad there for a moment

Alright chaps. I have to confess to not having got round to listening to it properly yet due to bloody annoying throat infection combined with housewife duties. I have a window tomorrow however and will post a few thoughts afterwards.

Ta, for all the nice words. It's wasn't just me. Infact I was the junior partner with this one with Mr Darren of 40 Horses fame doing the legwork. We've a bunch of non-prag stuff Red and a certain amount of it's here.

I'm fairly certain it was the McHaggis incident to blame.

Yes. Yes it is all about me. Mostly cos the cool kids have gone to watch Kyuss and the wage slaves are busy getting on with a home-life in the few hours allowed them by "the man"

Group Bondage - Saffron Bomb

Certainly Bondy and loaded with pomposity as should be the case for this genre. Weirdly I got Phil Oakey bumming Patton for the vocals but that fitted just fine no issues there. Nice big arrangement but lacked I though one of those stupid catchy chorus melodies that mark out these things. That said, it's about the only Bond Cliche you missed.

Solid - Double Helix

Nice enough start, decent repetitive chorus but needed an extra gear as after a while it tended to plod.

Talent Dies Screaming - Licence To Krill

Chap talks over bendy guitar.

The A&K Mutation - Chunderpussy

If McFly ever play a "Bond theme" it'll probably sound like this.

Orphans - Names Are For Tombstones

A bit too mushy and indistinct, but perhaps this bond was a 1920s western bond.

Huxley - Darkos Are Forever

It's like the sound is having sex with all my senses at once. Simply Joyous, beautiful, emotive, original and without a doubt BONDY.

Jack Bomb - Win, Lose Or Die Another Day

Starts off hinting at a depeche mode/early NIN direction but soon rocks out in a fashion I'd imagine the Wildhearts kind of do. Spotted at least 2 Bond theme cliches which qualifies it as "Bondy" by my scale. Excellent work considering the intervention by Steve Jobs and his dodgy equipment.

Drum Aliens - Come Die With Me
Bond is dead! 'tis a sad day. Nice stuff but more of a mid film tear jerker before a miraculous recovery by our hero and off he goes to hand out a sound thrashing o some ne'er do well and still ave time for some top notch punning in the arms of some random beauty at the end of the film.

Howlin' Ape - To Die And Live Again
I enjoyed this, but I'm not too sure about it's bondyness. Still, it rollocks along and should Bond start growing a mohican and turns on the very system that has used him to such deadly effect in the past, this could very well be the theme to it!
