it could be about them in the form of story / prose, or by them in the first person, or inspired by them (Red - you'd have to umpire this to prevent anything too tenuous)

Also - on a seperate thread - can I suggest that we have a "get out of jail" card on spoken word / samples.

I was guilty of this before on Prag2 - but we were swamped on both prags with liften samples and spoken word Shatnerisms.

can we possibly have the rule that if you've thrown the sample / spoken word in on previous prags, you HAVE to do a proper vocal on subsequent prags. I feel that a blanket ban on spoken word / sample lifting as main body of song might be a bit off putting for newcomers / people that feel they really WANT a spoken word.

I'll do vocals for anyone who

a) Needs vocals

b) Doesn't hate my voice

c) I don't hate.

I don't like recording restrictions as this makes it more difficult to entry level people such as myself.

even people like simon ball and me can employ the rare and esoteric vocal technique "la chanse de merde". I even fucking RAPPED on my first prag. WESTSSSSSIIIDDDEEE!!!

Would it be possible to do this:

A CVS repository is created for audio projects.

Somebody starts a new project by adding one or more audio tracks to it. Say, a drum track, or themselves reading a poem, or whatever. (Uploading a click track would perhaps be seen as being lazy ). Other people use the freely available CVS software to download the tracks, and import them into whatever software they use. They then record (synthesise, whatever) new tracks to add to the developing piece of music. Or perhaps they copy a track, treat (in a Brian Eno sense) the copy. These get uploaded (automatically by CVS), so that other people can hear them. Add their own bits, create their own remixes etc. And so it grows. I think some other forums such as harmony central do things like this.

That field is perfect for gay feet.

No rapper has the right to criticise another's technique, no more than any Latin scholar has the right to critisize another's pronunciation of Latin (the reason being that Latin was a written, not a spoken, language, and that there are no recordings in existence of ancient Latin being recited).
