Bill,

I'd definitely be interested if you can something along these lines going. I'm an old 28 with no hair, and I'm a rhythm guitarist in Leicester. I do a bit of songwriting, and can do backing vocals as well.

Oooh... This sounds fun.... I would jump at this if I wasn't already in enough bands....

I say jump, but at my age it would be more like a raised eyebrow followed by a well deserved sit down..

I once started a band where everyone played bass. It was basically 2 bands of four people put together, plus our mates. So 9 in all.

Sounded AWESOME

I don't know who any of those bands are apart from Black Crowes who I saw a couple of years ago with older pals and it was kinda gay. At the end the band lined up and took a bow and flowers were thrown onstage. Their drummer played a drum solo called "Moby Dick" which is loosely based on the life and times of Papa Roach frontman "Coby Dick" and his famous feud with pop has-been "Moby" (I think.. I can't think of anything else that "Moby Dick" would fit). That was pretty good I guess, very grindcore. Id love to be in a grindcore band.

It's tough being the Bryan Ferry of Loughborough.

Moby Dick was a song by Led Zep with a rather famous drum solo in it. The Black Crowes have worked extensively with Jimmy Page and Robert Plant for a number of years.

It may have been a cover of that particular song you saw.

It's pretty amazing that Lep Zep wrote a song about Coby Dick and Moby all the way back in the 40s.
