Bummer. My band is sort of ending tomorrow. At least it's bye bye to regular gigs and practices.

I use 3 guitars in it. 2 nice Telecasters and this:

It's an early 90s Gibson ES135 made in the USA. It's the most sought after era as they have P100 pickups in them and a solid centre block so they don't howl with feedback. This thing is mighty.

A few details: the pickups may have been changed out to older P90s. They don't have any markings and they sound a lot better than a friend's ES135 from the same era. They're very powerful and make this a surprisingly powerful rock guitar.

At some point it looks like the guitar has had a Bigsby trem fitted. However, there are no drill holes so I suspect someone put a Gretsch-style Bigsby on it only to find that it doesn't work properly so took it off. There are 2 finish marks in the top that show where the tailpiece would have rested.

Also, the pickguard (which is included but isn't on the guitar for cosmetic reasons) has a small semi circle of plastic that has been cut out and stuck back in. Again, I think it was so the Bigsby arm could sit right. Some people do stupid things.

It's been completely re-wired with a new upgraded selector switch and pots making it very quiet. I had this done myself as part of a set up and overhaul that cost 90 quid.

It comes with a Gator flight case worth £80.

£700...

I may be in touch after my first pay cheque, depending on the amount!!

I'd rather watch Mr P pull his little todger to excretion than invest

It's a pretty sweet deal. They retailed at over a grand, though you can pick up later ones for about 550-650 on EBay this one is all sorted, has the desirable pickups and a hardcase...

Have heard Mr. Sumlin wielding this and can vouch that it plunks very nicely.

afraid not my good friend. I have just got my hands on a little alligator volume pedal and a holy grail so I can get some lovely ambient stuff going with the DL4 and rocktron too!

I think you saw it after the tart-up but before it was re-wired with better quality electrics as it kept cutting out!
