We took no risks and had both.

Ths was an amazing gig - tea, home made cakes and Hewpah Coowick - amazing!

Put a tick in the music ambition list by sharing the stage with jesus hewick - had a few nice ales with some lovely people, good chats and actaully realised that despite his spreadsheet fixation simon CAN improv when faced with an enraged hewick and a nervous merryn who basically ballsed up a whole song and ad libbed it. top day.

LMAO. i have never been in the situation where a singer songwriter forgets one of his own riffs in the face of a friendly crowd... improv? i call it panic. the audience never suspected a thing... until you gave the game away on the MIC.

working with you guys is fun, having to watch for chord and timing changes causes a severe adrenalin overload which leads to severe head and face sweating. remind me t ask for more reharsals than 15 mins each on a song a song i have never heard....

the fact that i was being heckled by the swinford under 21 heclking club also made it quite exciting, and all the more sweet when we clearly pulled off a miraculous good gig, and the people of the village invited us back for next year....

i told them ok, as long as the Kevin Hoopwick Valley wayfarers were not on tour of Las Vegas...

just recieved a courtesy call from Guy, the organiser, to thank us profusely for playing, and to invite us to play again next year, or sooner if they stage another event...

they loved it all, expecially the finale! the cream and hendrix stuff, so i asked him to email us a list of songs the villagers like to see what we can fit in for next time.

Great pub, great tent, great beer, great people, great time.So loved doing this gig with two fine stapping young men.. and our spirtual advisor Daisy!

and your young lady Bez who was clearly digging the hewick vibe. she may havebeen young, but she had an eternal soul.
