again, thats what i thought.
It has a fine ironic sentiment behind it. We started this night 'cos we were fed up of doing mass market indie nights. We were doing rather well out of it, but it was fucking soul destroying. So, small nights that are fun for us, and that people enjoy because everyones having fun are the way ahead.

The New Year Party idea sounds a really nice idea, no bells/whistles, just music and people, good.. alas I'm on a nightshift.. working 2008 into 2009! ![]()

1. Christmas / New Years parties and things
S'maybe a little early to start talking about christmas, but we've just got the tickets in, so here goes...
Retribution, Backlash and my night, Through Being Cool, are teaming up for a Christmas party on Friday 19th December. Ret and Backlash will nodoubt be doing something special in the main room, and we'll be in the upstairs room playing Punk, Hardcore, Ska, Pop-Punk, (good) Emo and the like. It's the first time i've run a night in a room with a capacity of less than 1000 for a very long time, so we're expecting it to be 'excellent'.
Then...
New Years Eve we'll be running a through Being Cool night upstairs at firebug - again, small room, good music, lights, noises and the like.
I know this isn't to the taste of many people on here, but in the spirit of pulling the music scene together, i thought i'd post it either way.
Tickets for both events are on sale now from Firebug priced £3 each
