This year's Summer Sundae Fringe Festival was even bigger and better than before. As well as the usual shows on the Thursday night before Summer Sundae we put together a two week programme of events that showcased the best in music that Leicester has to offer.

So 'Fringe Thursday' is almost here.

Rather than just have one or two odd posts promoting peoples own line ups, it makes more sense to do one for everyone, and so here is the full proposed line up for this thursday's event. Tickets are £4, exchange the ticket for a wristband to provide access to all the parties and also the buses. No wristband = no access or bus travel.

On Thursday 6th August the Leicester Mercury had an article on page 3 of 'The Week' magazine regarding the Fringe Festival.

There have been a few changes to the show at Firebug on the 8th August and the Stenchival Show at The Great Central on the same night. Apart form that it's all go ready for the start of the Fringe Festival in just two weeks.

There will undoubtedly be a few changes, but the Fringe Festival line-up is pretty compete now. Two weeks of incredible music in Leicester at venues around the city - all culminating with Fringe Thursday. It's going to be an amazing fortnight if we say so ourselves.

We are now compiling our press and photo guest lists for the 2009 Summer Sundae Fringe Warm Up Parties (known as Fringe Thursday). We're welcoming all fanzines, magazines, websites, etc to apply. To apply for a press pass, simply drop us a line at sswfringefestival@gmail.com. Press passes will allow holders priority access to venues, and the ability to jump the main entrance queues.

Everything's just about confirmed and we are in the process of updating this website with the details of all the wonderful shows and events that will form this year's Summer Summer Fringe Festival. Stick with us, it should all be done by the end of Monday...
