Make sure you take a billion people, and make sure they all pay their fiver. Otherwise you can be better than **INSERT BAND NAME HERE** and still not get through. And the 9:30 slot time/6:30 soundcheck stuff is a load of bollocks. Its just so that you turn up early so that you bring more people down that pay a fiver to see one band, and pay £3 for warm Cider.
