love and hip hop season 2, Should you caught the growing season premiere of Vh1’s Love & Hip-Hop reality series on Monday night (November 14), it’s most likely that you have a viewpoint on the Chrissy vs. Kimbella brawl (the sucker punch debate is yet another story). MTV News swept up with the Love & Hip-Hop cast members this week even though Chrissy Lampkin regrets getting physical, Kimbella Vanderhee stands by her decision to decrease the bombshell on Emily during her party.
The explosive confrontation happened throughout a party hosted by Emily Bustamente, as she celebrated the end of her nine-year relationship with Fabolous. In a reality show moment that appeared to be without any reasoning, Kimbella announced--in front from the entire room--that she dated Fabolous while Emily B was pregnant together with his son. Although Emily remained calm after hearing this news, Chrissy quickly lost her cool and things soon spiraled unmanageable.
Looking back on the incident, Kimbella told MTV News that she didn't anticipate this type of heated reaction from Chrissy and maintained that she made the right decision by revealing the news when she did. "I didn't come at [Emily B] maliciously. I'd good intentions and that i wasn't there to harm anyone or take everything from anyone," Kimbella told us on Monday, before the season premiere. "I could've taken her aside to tell her that privately, but I felt as with as soon as, Emily am proud that she was leaving [Fab], and that i only agreed to be for the reason that moment together with her.
, "Everyone just shifted from the room and that i felt like it was just me and her, and so i felt the need to tell her," Kim continued. "I stand my ground with this, I felt like I needed to inform her then and there, and that i did that and I hold my very own with this."
Lampkin expressed remorse to MTV News for assaulting Kimbella but she, too, maintained that they was caught up in heat of the moment. "I think everybody that watches the show feels as though Emily doesn't defend herself the way we would like to see her do," she explained. "I don't regret my feelings, but I regret the way I allowed myself to become brought out of character. It's just that I was so hurt and thus caught within the moment - it was just reactional."
Was Kimbella at fault for dropping this news on Emily during her party?
