My options were limited so that i knew I had to brew a decision. Was I going to stay in severe pain on a daily basis with the hopes of having better or go in for the surgical procedure with no guarantee that it could be 100% successful either. Needless to say, I was not very happy with the options I had available. After a night of taking into consideration the pros and cons of the surgery I decided i had no other choice than to own surgery if I wanted to end this pain. So, the next day I called the doctor and scheduled the surgery. To make matters worse, the soonest they may well perform the surgery was well over a week away! I knew that i could not last an additional week. The next morning can be a day I will remember. My mom called me to find how I was feeling as she had the majority days since this whole ordeal started. I told her that I had went ahead with the surgery, but was not happy that being my only option. She proceeded to tell me about an all natural product she found online last night and asked me easily wanted to check it out for. My answer to her was, "Mom, I am willing to try anything at this point to make the pain go away! ".
Now, before I go any further I need you to learn some things about that Lateral Sphincterotomy surgical procedure I would have to supposedly repair my anal fissure. There is no guarantee this surgical process will heal your anal fissure! The doctor will basically cut a small nick into the internal anal sphincter of your anal canal in order to help reduce spasms and increase the blood supply to the place. This is usually done as an outpatient surgery under an overall anesthesia. The hope is that your body will have more blood circulation to the area so that the fissure can heal without attention. So, you are basically getting cut to heal your fissure? What?!?!? Sounds like a strange way to refurbish a cut to me. But remember, this is my only choice if i want any hope of removing this anal fissure. Well then, i'll point out the advantages and dis-advantages of the surgery so we tend to make a better, educated decision relating to this surgical procedure.
Disadvantages to having the surgery:
- The surgery fails to actually close the anal fissure, it relieves the sphincter muscle mass
Itching will also be experienced. The infection may also cause slight fever, fatigue, chills, and weakness. One could not feel like eating heavy or spicy food and might feel uncomfortable.
The healing about this abnormality is not organic.
Either the sufferer will have to have medication or he will have to have a surgery to get performed.
The medication that may be administered would mainly consist of antibiotics. When simple medication does not work, a surgery would have to be performed. A surgery for any anal fistulae present in the lower end of the digestive canal is considered Fistulotomy.
The treatment is simple. The surgeon will create an incision over the fistula tube. He will merge it with the region of the rectum where it can be connected. anal itch
